Maroelani focuses on sustainability and has implemented a green approach to all operating departments of the lodge. This means that the lodge runs on solar energy, has a low water wastage and consumption system, support small business in the area and the food and products is organic and locally grown.
In Room Facilities:Each treehouse Suite is built three meters up in the air and has large glass doors that fills the rooms with natural light and enhances the feeling of spaciousness. The suites open out onto a hardwood deck with a romantic hammock area overlooking the mountains and bush. Each bathroom has a large glass panel for guest to enjoy the stunning views (In full privacy) and animals browsing beneath their rooms.

bush getaway. You are greeted with friendly and helpful staff upon your arrival at the nature reserve. After your welcome drink and check in you are taken to your private bush suite that has the most magical views of the nature surrounding the area. There is lots to do from morning/evening game drives with professional guides to relaxing at the pool close to the watering hole where all kinds of animals come to have a sip of the sweet bushveld water. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure. Thank you Maroelani for the best bush trip ever and also for helping me plan our engagement. We can't wait to spend our honeymoon with you in April.
we were warmly welcomed by Francis, the proprietor, and looked after with friendly service throughout our stay. The staff is attentive and accommodated our every need, from a walkie talkie to a flashlight to fresh fruit for breakfast. We were particularly happy about the champagne, the romantic picnic in the wilderness and the candlelight dinner at the edge of the lake. Lunch and dinner by the Malawian chef Mpho Gilbert Matlou were of excellent quality and varied. With his creativity, he is an enrichment for the team. Our guide at the game drives, Louis, impressed us with his excellent biological knowledge, his ethics and sensitivity in dealing with the diverse animal world. Nikita will have much success in her career path with her friendly service.

Beautiful and Clean, pity a place like Mali Mali can upset a persons Holiday... an event that was meant to be legendary! Mali Mali is not as per there website... they manipulate the internet!
The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
