The Dreamview Rental at the Butterfly Villa offers two self-catering units on a single level with one small step at the entrance, which makes it accessible for pensioners or less-mobile persons and is 90% off the grid with solar power. The villa is just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants in Pringle Bay.
Enjoy sweeping vistas of the ocean and mountains right from the patio, perfect for sunrise coffees or sunset cocktails. Relax in the 10 person outdoor Jacuzzi while soaking in the serene scenery. Perfect for de-stressing or have a movie night on the smart TV in the lounge for the perfect cozy evening in or play some board games. Enjoy our large outdoor braai (fire pit) perfect for creating memorable moments with family or friends or roast marshmallows at our indoor fireplaces, perfect for those cozy winter nights.
Convenient off-street parking with secure gated entry and ample space for up to 6 vehicles. The Butterfly Villa is a fenced property with entry through a motorised gate only. There are no indoor or outdoor security cameras, and the premises is protected by smoke alarms and a security alarm system.
LODGE: Self-catering unit that sleeps 6-8 in two queen bedrooms, kids room with a singles bunk-bed for two and a queen pullout bed in the lounge (add the Glass Suite – if available – for larger groups of up to 12 persons). The well-equipped kitchen has all the crockery, utensils and appliances you need for preparing meals for your group.
GLASS SUITE: This ideal self-catering family retreat sleeps 2-4 with a queen bed and 2 single pop-out beds with a well-equipped mini kitchen allowing you to prepare intimate meals or snacks with ease.
WILDLIFE VIEWS: Pringle Bay is situated in the UNESCO Kogelberg Nature Reserve, and you can enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife from the kitchen, dining room, the patio or go for a short drive to the unique Stony Point Penguin Colony and the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden in Betty's Bay. Pringle Bay is a fantastic spot for whale watching from July to October.
ARTS, CRAFTS AND SHOPPING: This area is known for some of the best local art and crafts if you are looking to find a few unique souvenirs. While Pringle Bay is a small town with limited shopping options, you'll find essential and local goods at the local shops and restaurants. For more serious shopping, consider a short trip to nearby towns like Kleinmond or Somerset West for larger supermarkets and retail centers.
AIRPORT ACCESS: Cape Town International Airport is the nearest major airport, located approximately 1.5 hours by car from Pringle Bay. Shuttle services and car rentals are available locally and at the airport for your convenience.
FUN THINGS TO DO: swimming, hiking, biking, boogie boarding, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and more. The area offers many activities safe for the whole family or for those seeking thrills and adrenaline-rushes.
** If the Lodge and the Glass Suite are rented by separate parties on the same dates, then the Jacuzzi and outdoor braai are shared between the two units.

Beautiful place will all creature comforts , in the kokolberg biosphere , with baboons, turtles , penguins , whales , dolphins , dollies, sea lions, all kinds of birds , butterflies galore and the amazing feinboss flowers. So much nature with a mid blowing sea and Mountain View Wow!!!
It was one of the most memorable and peaceful stays I've ever had with my family the beautiful and kind soul of shellie can be seen and felt from the very second you meet her, her kindness to my family will never be forgotten and we are planning our next trip. The conformable beds makes for a good night's rest to spend the next day to it's fullest having fun from boardgames Beach walks jacuzzi sessions are absolutely heaven on earth thank you for the flowers you have gifted my great aunt for her 80th birthday
