Geluksdam is an ideal stopover on the main route between Gauteng, Namaqualand, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and Namibia.

Geluksdam Guest House Olifantshoek is the perfect stopover from Gauteng en route to the Kalahari Gemsbok Park, Augrabies and the Fish River Canyon. We are strategically situated on the N14, the main road linking Gauteng to the Northern Cape and Namibia.
We offer our guests a number of services, including a restaurant and bar.
Assistance in route planning and advice on sightseeing, 4x4 routes as well as gravel routes for motorcycle enthusiasts.
Other than breakfast we also offer lunch, lunch packs and dinner (at an additional cost) Come and relax in our dining and lounge area. We do laundry on request. Three of the units have private braai areas. There is also a communal braai area. Designated smoking areas.
Attractions:Also historically interesting, the town of Kurman provides a pleasant base from which to explore the surroundings. Westward, the facilities at Upington offer a relaxing interlude, and from there, it's a short and pleasant drive to the spectacular Augrabies Falls.
Wildlife enthusiasts should spend a day or two in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, and those who are looking for an unparalleled adventure should head for the Richtersveld. Visitors to Springbok, in the centre of the country's famous wildflower region, will find fascinating relics of the early copper mining days. Apart from stunning scenery, Calvinia enjoys a pollution-free atmosphere, providing excellent views or stargazing opportunities.
