A large contemporary Lodge located in an exclusive, private and quiet gated community.
Staying at Aloe Lodge gives you a sense that you have left the hustle and bustle of city living. With beautiful valley views, breath taking sunsets and being situated in nature with amazing bird life, you cant help but feel relaxed. The perfect urban hideaway.
The garden is indigenous so naturally the grass becomes dormant and the trees drop their leaves from mid-April - August.
Situated within a security gated area, this private lodge has a been designed to give a game lodge feel. With extensive lawns, boma (firepit), Springbok and tortoises roaming. It is a bubble of tranquility amidst the vibrant energy of Johannesburg.
The interior design can be described as modern meets eclectic, giving it a resort atmosphere. Cemented screed floors, some purposely rusted decor elements, wrap around balconies, charcoal coloured 22m length swimming pool, out door shower and bath allow for a bush lodge experience. The large main entertainment verandah over looks a treed valley and lawns giving a perfect spot to relax

Please note that the 'Lodge' is first and foremost an upmarket stay-over accommodation location. The lodge is located in a residential estate that has rules that we need to abide to, e.g. late noise etc. The lodge is not rented out as a party venue unless agreed to prior with the 'house rules' listed below for venue hire.
Please limit your day guests within reason. max 5 vehicles and please provide us with pre-warning should there be extra day guests.
Please note that there is a cleaning fee that is included in the standard guest booking fee, however this fee pertains to the cleaning required after the guests check out. The house does not have a full time maid/cleaner on call.
However, cleaning services can be provided daily or at requested intervals during the stay period upon request at an additional fee paid directly to the cleaning services employed. Please advise the hosts if you would need this service at least 48 hours in advance.
Please note that we will try and accommodate early arrivals and late departures with 24 hours notice. Otherwise, we require accurate and timely check in and departure to be adhered strictly.
This lodge sleeps 8 guests only
Due to the lodge's size and decor, please be aware that the lodge consumes large amounts of electricity and has just under 300 lights. Please do not leave all lights on all day and night.

Events meaning; additional day guests brought into the lodge that amounts to 5 or more people excluding checked in guests.
This includes - Weddings, Birthday Parties, Bachelor/bachelorette parties, kids parties, anniversaries, business Tv shoots and other productions etc.
Please note that the 'Lodge' is first and foremost an upmarket stay over location. Functions and events are allowed. However due to some unfortunate and unexpected experiences, we have had to make some stringent rules in respect to our future clients, the business and the property.
1. Electrical meter reading will be taken on arrival and departure. The booking guest will be responsible for paying for the electrical costs at Eskom rates for the entire duration of the stay.
2. Deposit is required for functions/events. (Please contact the host for
more information depending on the event.)
3. Any event/function hosted, with more than additional 10 people will
require at least 2 (two) extra cleaning staff during the event. Please
contact the host for more information.
4. The lodge does not supply extra event items, e.g. marquess, cutlery,
crockery and cooking equipment. Please contact the hosts for reliable
contacts if required.
5. The guests are expected to leave the lodge in a respectable condition as
per their arrival. Any damages, breakages and or disrepair of the property
will be deducted from the deposit with immediate effect.
6.. Additional parking for events can be arranged in close proximity, within
walking distance. The Lodge does not allow more than 5 vehicles parked
on the Lodge property.
7. Guests are required to bring a portable generator for large events, to be
discussed with the hosts.
