Vineyard Cottage, Goodluck Homestead is a beautiful off-grid eco cottage situated on a working regenerative farm in the heart of the Overberg, with panoramic views towards Walker Bay and the Kleinriviersberg mountains.
Surrounded by fynbos and vineyards, this cottage has pure spring-fed water, a wood-fired hot tub, solar power and is not affected by loadshedding. Lovingly hand-sculpted using local and natural materials, site-harvested timber, clay, sand and straw, the cottage is perfect for a couple or a single persons getaway.
The cottage is furnished with a comfortable king-size bed and the en-suite bathroom has a free-standing bath and walk-in shower, as well as an outdoor shower overlooking the garden. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities, cutlery and crockery and a dining area. Guests can relax in front of the fireplace, make use of the Wi-Fi, and the living room opens onto a covered patio with outdoor seating and a built-in braai area overlooking the vineyards and inviting hot tub.
Guests are welcome to wander around the farm, swim and fish in the dams, and meander through the veggie gardens.
Goodluck Homestead is a working farm using regenerative farming practices, therefor no toxic herbicides and pesticides are used, but please be aware there may be noise disturbances at certain times. We will endeavour to warn guests in advance of farming activities such as spraying and use of machinery, which can be short notice as they are weather dependent.
