The staff was very friendly. André was a good guide who knew a lot about nature and animals. He also had great respect for animals and nature. He was always surprised when the animals saw. The best thing about the lodge is that it's always on the water. When we arrived we immediately saw a family of elephants, a crocodile, hippos and impalas. When we were there it was winter, it is very cold at night. Extra blankets and hot water bottles were provided, which was very pleasant. Safaris were at 15:30 and at 06:30. Very nice to see the animals at sunrise and sunset. We were on our honeymoon and got a nice present.

Location by the river, friendliness of the staff. You can see many animals in the river like elephants, you can see crocodiles and hippos. At night we heard the lions roaring and the location right on the river is unique and beautiful.

We had the most perfect time The lodge is absolutely stunning, the room are away from each other so there is intimacy. The location in front of the river allows us to see all king of animals like elephants bathing in the river in front of us The food is so good thanks to the chef, it was delicious The game drives were perfect and Chris was amazing, always with great care

We could not have made a better choice of lodge. The lodge is small (max 10 people), the food is great, the staff is lovely, the surroundings are very peaceful and quiet and the safari’s were unforgettable. We spotted lions, a leopard, zebras, giraffes, elephants and much more. We were extremely surprised but the quality of the food and drinks and the lovely ambiance and attentiveness of the staff at the camp. 10/10 experience all-round.

Everything was perfectly organized, clean, new and luxurious. The personal attention was nice. For my friend’s birthday a gift basket arranged and birthday cake after dessert. The guide and spotter were also great. We've seen a lot of animals, and we realized we were lucky. Staff service was perfect. The fire in the lapa was nice. The bed was big and delicious. Also time to relax. Unforgettable experience.
Weather's got to be good, when it's raining. the sleeping is still romantic but you can not see in the pool or few animals on the other side or on the safari. The property has no influence but is something to manage your own expectations. Fortunately we ourselves had a little rain after day 1, only sun.

Beautiful location, excellent food, amazing and knowledgable staff and memorable game drives

The location right on the river was excellent, we could see countless elephants from our tent. Chris, our guide told us very competently and interesting everything about the local animals and plants. The food was very nicely prepared and delicious. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

What a pleasant surprise! This brand new Lodge offers 5 luxury tents, all with river views. My first impression was exclusivity and serenity. Early morning and afternoon game drives were exceptional. Leisuring next to the pool and spotting hippo and elephant grazing along the riverfront. The staff was super friendly and the meals sumptuous. I wish I could stay longer. Thank you to the Bundox River Lodge team. You made my stay very special!!
