Witgatboom is located in a game camp on a working sheep and game farm, in the heart of the Bo-Karoo between Hopetown, Orania and Strydenburg. It is 40 km from the N12 on gravel road. There is a 6 km jeep track from the farmhouse to the guesthouse and a bakkie or SUV will be needed. Come and experience the beautiful sunsets, stars, tranquility and the silence of nature, and can also spot various game species on the farm. Witgatboom is ideal for an overnight stop or a weekend getaway.
Witgatboom accommodation is a self-catering house that can accommodate up to 4 guests and contains 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains a double bed. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is fitted with a two-plate gas stove, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery and a breakfast bar with stools. Power is provided by solar. The lounge area contains seating. Stacker doors open to an outdoor area with a firepit braai area.
There is a vantage points that offer you the breathtaking endless plains of the Karoo as well as off-road trails for walking.
