Kimburu Bushcamp offers self-catering accommodation ideal for those looking for a bushveld getaway, not too far from town. Kimburu is located 25 km from Middelburg, on the N11, towards the Loskopdam Nature Reserve.
Kimburu Bushcamp offers several accommodation options, including Family Rooms with a double bed and 2 single beds, ideal for a family, Double rooms with a double bed, ideal for couples, the Boma-chalets have double beds and is ideal for larger groups, a Safari Tent with a double bed provides a lovely bush experience and a Dome Tent with fitted with a double bed.
A communal kitchen facility is available. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, kettle, cooking utensils, and cutlery. A Boma and braai area provides a good space for spending time with friends and family.
Linen and bath towels are provided for guests' convenience.
Guests have the option of booking the accommodation as a whole which is ideal for family gatherings, functions, children's parties, or reunions. Accommodation can be provided for a total of 26 guests.
Come relax next to the swimming pool. Guests just need to bring their own swimming towels along.
The farm has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Children are welcome to bring their bikes along. Hiking and picnics are also an option. Kimburu is home to a variety of animals that are bound to attract kids attention, and includes meerkats (Stoffel and Blinkie), miniature horses (Ode and Newsmaker), ostriches, guinea fowl, chickens and geese. Bird watchers will enjoy spotting macaws, flycatchers, woodpeckers, red-chested cuckoos and kingfishers. There are also walking routes for nature lovers and the premises is full of swift-footed squirrels.
Come, sit back and enjoy something cool around the campfire with Guinea fowls and Crowned partridges in die distance. The stars are our lights at night.

The Bushcamp, what a wonderful experience. The living unit was clean and comfortable. Short distance to kitchen and shower facilities. Bathroom facilities were very clean and tidy. Well-equipped kitchen. No need to bring anything along. Well lit in the evening. Gardens so neat. My dog Oliver was also welcome.
