South Safari Lodge - Kruger National Park offers bed and breakfast or half-board accommodation (dinner, bed and breakfast) and is located in Marloth Park. The wildlife conservancy and holiday town is situated on the southern border of the Kruger National Park. It is a popular stopover for tourists travelling to the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, and Mozambique, offering a chance to spot four of the renowned Big Five.
This exclusive bush lodge comprises thatch-roofed bungalows. Each bungalow sleeps 2 adults and comes with a King size bed (can be converted to two single beds with prior notice) with an en-suite bathroom and comes standard with a dining area and kitchenette equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee plunger, roof fan, air-conditioning, and a private deck to enjoy a sundowner or morning coffee before game drives. Free Wi-Fi access is available as well.
The comfortable private decked patio leads onto your own fire pit/BBQ/boma area.
If you listen closely at night, you might hear the Lions and Hippo’s from the Crocodile River merely +/-1 kilometer away!
Marloth Park boasts 4 of the Big Five animals, with the exception of the elephant. However, elephants can often be seen splashing about in the Crocodile River that divides Marloth Park from the Kruger National Park. Rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard can be found in Lionspruit, a separate game reserve located within Marloth Park, while other wildlife such as kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, baboon, bushbuck, vervet monkeys, nyala, impala, warthog, and ostrich are free to roam between the units.

Marloth Park is a 3,000-hectare wildlife conservancy is a popular stopover for tourists travelling to the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, and Mozambique, offering a chance to spot four of the renowned Big Five.
The park interior remains unfenced, but is it is separated from the Kruger National Park via a fence and the Crocodile River. Two entrances can be used to enter the Kruger National Park, namely Crocodile Bridge and Malelane. The advantage to Marloth Park being so close to the Kruger is that visitors can enjoy the convenience of exploring the park, while having a less commercialised area to come back to at the end of the day. Due to the lack of fences, visitors are encouraged to explore Marloth Park at their leisure with bush walks, self-drives, and bicycles.
