On the tidal shores of the famous Knysna Lagoon, lies a collection of 16 self-catering timber chalets, nestled amongst leafy vegetation and indigenous Milkwood trees. The tranquil setting offers guests a haven of leisure and comfort. It is the only resort at the world-renowned Knysna Heads to have direct access to the beach, which is framed by the Featherbed Nature Reserve and the majestic Outeniqua Mountains on the far horizon. Perhaps while relaxing on your patio, you will even catch a glimpse of one of South Africa's most striking birds, the scarlet-winged Knysna Loerie.
In Room Facilities:Each chalet has two bedrooms, a twin and a double room; a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences such as microwave, fridge/freezer, stove, TV and luxury Le Creuset cookware. Each chalet is serviced daily (currently every second day due to Covid-19) and each has its own sundeck and BBQ facilities.

Situated in the heart of the Garden Route, it's the perfect base from which to explore the neighbouring areas. Surrounded by lush forests, glorious beaches and a beautiful lagoon, Knysna is an idyllic paradise for locals and visitors alike.
Property Facilities:Our beach offers guests safe swimming and water sports in the protected bay. Kayaks, paddleboards and beach equipment are provided for the enjoyment of the whole family and buckets and spades are available for small children. There are also board games and DVDs at reception for rainy days and quiet times. Babysitting, a laundry service and a grocery provisioning option can be arranged.
Attractions:There is so much for visitors to do, see and experience in Knysna - whether looking for culture and heritage, nature and outdoor adventure or pure relaxation. The tidal lagoon provides a constant playground and the surrounding areas ensure endless opportunities that will appeal to everyone’s interests. Activities include hiking, cycling, swimming, birdwatching, forest tours and lagoon charters, as well as wildlife sanctuaries like Monkeyland and Birds of Eden.
