Both the bedroom and lounge lead out onto the wooden deck through glass sliding doors, where you can relax on deck chairs and soak up the sun or sip sundowners at sunset and listen to the sounds of night owls and the calls of forest night animals. A braai/BBQ area is provided just off the deck, where one can enjoy an open-air fire, make a potjie or have a braai/BBQ.

Sedgefield is a beautiful seaside village, lying between George and Knysna, along the renowned Garden Route in the Western Cape. The town is surrounded by glistening lakes, vegetated sand dunes, dense pine plantations, the Swartvlei Estuary, and the warm Indian Ocean.
A major draw card to Sedgefield is the Wild Oats Market held every Saturday morning, offering fresh produce and arts and crafts. Local attractions include Gericke’s lookout point which resembles a sleeping lion, and the protected dunes featuring Cape fynbos plantations and rare bird species. In addition, Sedgefield boasts a golf course (the Fynbos Links), a tennis court, and a bowls field.
The area surrounding Sedgefield is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Groenvlei Lake is the only fresh-water lake in the area and is a popular spot for Bass fishing. It forms part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve and has some of the highest vegetated sand dunes in South Africa. Sedgefield’s surroundings are a plethora of fynbos, Lakeside, and forest hiking trails that will keep the energetic entertained for hours. Swartvlei is one of the largest lakes in the Sedgefield, providing safe swimming and fishing.

Enjoyed everything, the slow pace, nature, canoeing on the lake. The stay at Lake Pleasant was awesome! Will definitely return for a longer stay.
It a cool place and not busy and not far from N2.
From the arrival, till leaving the next day on a business overnight stay, I can only say one thing. FABULOUS...Thanx for a good night's rest.
It's a beautiful part of the country and the people are friendly
Quaint shops, easily accessible, access to garages, drs , vets etc.
Farmers' Market; visiting the Lakes; close to Wilderness.
The Market is an great experience every time.
