Minara Private Boutique Game Lodge is located in the malaria-free Dinokeng area, nabouring the Big 5 Dinokeng Game Reserve, just an hour’s drive from the OR Tambo International Airport.
Guests have a choice of spacious, private villas and the farmhouse, and each luxurious, self-catering unit has been styled to complement the bushveld surroundings with hand-woven and crafted pieces from all over the African continent to ensure each guest experiences style and comfort.
Each of the villas, some of which are open-plan, is furnished with a king-size bed and has a luxurious bathroom with a shower and bath. The kitchens are fully equipped with a stovetop, small oven, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee-making facilities. The villas have comfortable lounge areas with TVs and Wi-Fi access, opening to an expansive patio with outdoor seating and braai facilities overlooking the inviting plunge pool.
The lovely farmhouse boasts all the living spaces that open up to enjoy the outdoors and the views. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, single sleeper couch, Smart TV and an open-plan bathroom with a bath. The second bedroom has a king-size bed or 2 single beds and has a walk-in shower en-suite. The private kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, and microwave, as well as a fridge and the living area opens onto a patio with a gas braai outdoor dining table, private pool and boma.
Guests can book a 2-hour safari game drive on the Minara game farm which boasts a variety of exotic antelope, giraffes and wildebeest.

Wat ‘n ongelooflike moderne, warm en mooi plek. Al die aandag, tyd en detail wat in elke lodge gesit is, is iets om jou asem weg te slaan. Minnaar familie, you have outdone yourselves 🙌🏻 Beslis die plek om te kies vir ‘n wegbreek in styl en stilte. Nog die mooiste plek wat ons al besoek het!

I enjoyed the self-game driving, though I only saw 2 of the Big 5's next time I'll use the Game Rangers drive... I also loved the picnic sighting the food there it's very nice and tasty...
