On the hilltop at Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve, you will find yourself surrounded by some of nature’s most exquisite visual displays. The Indian Ocean seamlessly merges into the green and gold of indigenous forests and fynbos that covers the grey mountains, capped by the beautiful African sky.

At Alkantmooi you are on top of the world with beauty in every direction, or alkantmooi in Afrikaans, offering beautiful, fully equipped, self-catering luxury apartments with separate entrances. Enjoying spectacular sea views, the apartment is furnished with twin or king-size beds, and has en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath and shower, or a shower only. For convenience, all linen and towels are provided and the units are serviced daily, except on Sundays and public holidays.
The apartments are equipped with TVs, free Wi-Fi access, room safes, and hairdryers, and have open-plan kitchens with a stove and oven, a microwave, and a fridge as well as tea and coffee facilities. The apartments open out onto a private deck or balcony enjoying an expansive view of the Robberg peninsula and the ocean.
Easily accessible from the private nature reserve is an array of outdoor activities made possible by Alkantmooi’s close proximity to the ocean, river, forests and mountains. The area boasts an abundance of bird and animal life, including the adjacent Keurbooms River Nature Reserve.

Alkantmooi offers the best of both worlds; it is only 6 km to Plettenberg Bay to stock up on supplies yet far enough away for uninterrupted peace and quiet. Make the best of the views on wooden decks where a braai. Perfectly situated for an easy slip onto the N2, Alkantmooi is the ideal base from which to explore the Garden Route and beyond. Within easy day trip distance are the world's highest commercial bungy jump, The Monkeyland and Birds of Eden, Africa's largest cave system, whale watching, the Tsitsikamma National Park and more. The region also boasts 14 top-class golf courses. Ideally situated for a stopover between Cape Town and Addo National Park. Exploring beyond Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve by no means diminishes the beautiful experience. Plettenberg Bay is famous for its unspoiled beaches, fascinating tourist attractions, good restaurants and interesting shops. Just up the road is The Crags, an area known for everything from elephants, monkeys, birds and wild cats to sparkling wine, pottery and a theatre in a barn.

Spacious, clean, reasonably priced, willing host and one of the best views in the region. This is a good spot to unwind and central to exploring the region. We would definitely stay here again.

Pragtige plek met 'n stunning view! Als is baie skoon en netjies en die staff is baie vriendelik. Hul doen baie moeite om net daai ekstra myl te gaan om mens te laat welkom voel! Ons sal defnitief weer van hul akkomodasie gebruik maak!

Wonderful apartment which more than adequately suited our needs for three nights on a recent business trip to Plett. There were lots of impressive touches such as orchids in a bowl, starter sherry, starter pack in the fridge etc. The view is magnificent.
