Tastefully decorated and well equipped. The open-plan entertainment areas open onto the pool deck and 3 of the 4 bedrooms have views over the indigenous forest and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Beautiful decor and South African Farm touches. Rooms are spacious with en suite bathrooms, built in cupboards and magnificent views over the forest, mountains and garden. The 4th bedroom opens onto its own courtyard, has a separate entrance and shares the bathroom with another bedroom upstairs. The pool deck with barbecue and fire boma flows from the entertainment area with views over the surrounding forest and mountains.

The Good Earth Farm Cottage :

Rustic Stables lovingly converted into a spacious, off grid light and bright cottage. Salvaged Oregon windows and doors, furnished with vibrant colours and carefully selected quirky furniture. Slow cook meals in the Esse wood burning stove whilst enjoying the warmth it brings to the entire living space. Explore picking fresh herbs, salad greens, seasonal berries and fruits from the surrounding food garden and light a fire in the fire circle whilst marveling at the starry night sky.

Our farm cottage is rustic and a unique experience, set amidst our food garden, with frog song from the nearby dam, views over the mountains and a cosy farm cottage feel. The glass enclosed wrap around verandah and skylights invite in natural light and the morning and afternoon sun, making this cottage lovely and cosy all year round.

The Good Earth Farm :

All units are serviced daily by our resident management couple Annie and Amos. A tranquil comfortable spot to enjoy pristine nature and views. We welcome well trained respectful pets by arrangement and each unit has a fenced garden to contain medium to large dogs.

Relax amidst the stillness of the forest, laze on the deck, light a fire in the boma and watch the moon rise over Peak Formosa whilst sipping wine from our local wine route... Sunrise is spectacular over the indigenous forest and Tsitsikamma Mountains with the call of the indigenous Turacao and Vervet Monkeys, often accompanied by the roaring of Lions at nearby Wildlife Rehabilitation Centres.. Beaches at Natures Valley, Keurbooms and Plettenberg Bay are a few minutes’ drive away. Ideally situated to explore all the magnificent area of Plettenberg Bay has to offer in terms of nature reserves such as Robberg, Stormsriver Mouth, and the Garden Route National Park. Bitou and Keurbooms Rivers offer fishing, boating and water sports. Enjoy hiking guided or independently in the indigenous forest or along the coast at Robberg, Keurboomstrand and Natures Valley. Experience eco-activities including animal sanctuaries, whale and dolphin watching boat trips, Sky Diving, Swimming with Seals, surfing, scuba diving or simply lazing on a beach.
An array of restaurants are available in Plettenberg Bay, Keurboomstrand and Natures Valley and two local farm stalls provide delectable local farm to table fare to whip into a delicious meal in the privacy of your villa.

I live on the property and am on standby throughout your stay. During times when I am away, our management couple, Annie & Amos, also live on the property and are available to support you during your stay. I am contactable via cell phone at all times and so is Amos and Annie.
