We were very impressed by the accommodation. Very clean and well equipped facilities. Very friendly hostess. We will make use of their facilities again in future and will highly recommend them to friends.
Great location. Very easy to get in and out of the farm, to the shops and to Addo Elephant reserve.
Liesl and family made us very welcome, giving us a tour of her farm. My son helped feed lambs, we saw the milking process and tried newly processed milk. A great adventure for a city dwelling child.
Aircon and heaters were provided so three of us slept in one room so less space to heat as we were there in winter and notice that most South Africans don't have central heating or thick double glazing as in UK. It's very spacious so hard to heat. My husband was fine but I feel the cold more. I'm sure they would have provided extra heaters of asked. I think in summer or a milder winter it wouldn't have been an issue.
Nice to stay on a family property as you get a little insight into life as a South African.
Rooms are large and clean. Shower is MASSIVE.
The attention to detail shows how much care Lezl and her staff have for her guests. We stayed in the Bushbuck Cottage and it was an absolute pleasure to find it in tip top condition with all appliances and equipment absolutely spotlessly clean. One feels welcomed and relaxed. I highly recommend these cottages to anyone who appreciates a good quality self catering, farm based holiday.
Having spent an entire week in different lodges and hotels for our honeymoon, I can safely say that this was by far one of my favourites!
This little paradise is on a dairy farm and such a pleasant surprise as it seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. The cottages are massive and spotless with everything you might need for self catering, with a grocer not far from the farm.
We stayed in the Bushbuck cottage and received the warmest welcome - even with honeymoon wine and choccies!
Lezl and her husband are amazing people and we absolutely loved our stay here. I wish we could pick up the entire place and move it closer to Cape Town!
Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

The quad biking and river safari.
Addo elephants are an experience not to be missed.
I loved the safe roads and the animals, especially the elephants.I also liked the nice shop to buy memorabilia.I also stayed close by at Avoca and this was five star treatment.I loved the tranquility and good host Riaan.
What an amazing haven to unwind and relax. Everything is Eco friendly and the staff are living examples of this. All the food was organic and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfy, The natural pool was beautiful and the location is close to the Addo Elephant National Park. We would definitely come back! Thank you for our amazing stay🙏
Beautiful scenery and very peaceful.
The animals are not scared of the vehicles travelling near them. We experienced some real magic moments in Addo.
