Saints at Sea is a modern, high-ceilinged self-catering home with a double garage, ideally located in Dwarskersbos. The 150 in-a-straight-line steps to the pristine beach area are just far enough to remove most of the bite from the sea breeze. Yet close enough to be there within 3 minutes.
Situated 170 km from the Cape Town International Airport, in a quiet, safe environment, and amongst the friendliest and truest of people, you will find this spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with a double garage. Newly built, clean, and well-equipped, this thoughtfully architect designed home will provide you with comfortable and memorable holidays. The property is loadshedding free with an 8kW 10kWh solar PV installation. An alarm system brings extra peace of mind, for those of us that prefer to make sure.
The second and third bedroom contains 2 single beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath, shower and basin, plus a separate toilet and basin.
Uncapped fibre internet ensures that work-holidays are possible, with a Nespresso Pod coffee machine ready to keep the flow of proper coffee going. And an icemaker for an uninterrupted flow of ice. A smart TV is permanently connected to the web, allowing you to log into your own online subscriptions such as Netflix, YouTube, TuneIn, DSTV and similar. Remote controlled ceiling fans ensure comfortable rest during warm nights, whilst electric blankets ensure the same during cold spells.
The high-end Plamen Nera woodstove, an indoor fireplace (wood supplied by us) and the braai (barbeque) ensure that the weather will never come between you and your fire. A 5-plate gas stove/ electric oven enables gourmet cooking with Snappy Chef pots to give life to your cooking fantasies, with a 6-seater dining table to enjoy meals and family time. The local restaurants (Dwarskersbos and Velddrif) provide for a unique culinary experience. And the seafood dishes are arguably as fresh as you would ever taste.
There is a separate scullery with a dishwasher and washing machine.

The house is a no smoking zone, but guests are welcome to smoke outside. Smaller pets upon arrangement. Along with the usual, bring your own braai wood, Nespresso pods, and beach towels.

Dwarskersbos is a fishing village and vacation resort on the West Coast, 12 km from Velddrif and 150 km from Cape Town. Thanks to the breathtaking beaches, Dwarskersbos is a hotspot for water sports of all kinds. Whale watching can be enjoyed during the season, between July and December. Dwarskersbos and its surrounding areas are also stunning spots for keen bird watchers. There are more than 180 species in the Rocherpan Nature Reserve alone, which is only 10 km from the centre of this town.

It is a beautiful West Coast town. Long walks along the beach, sunsets and visit to Rocherpan.
Wamakersvlei beach farm is unique. The best of the farm and long stretch of beach, ideal for long beach walks.
The beach view was just mesmerized, the peacefully area just to unwind was an awesome holiday getaway from the busy lifestyle!!!
Perfect sights, beautiful scenic surrounding the area. Would avoid nothing. Very friendly ppl and I loved the little fishing village in Veldrift on our way home. Bought beautiful bags and souvenirs.
