Mango Beach Resort is nestled behind a natural dune along the coastline of Tofo in Mozambique. The surroundings encompass the essence of being away from the hustle of mainstream town, with your own private beach shared only with other lodge guests.
A 1 or 2-minute walk and you will be on the beach; perfect for a tropical family-friendly vacation, a romantic honeymoon or an unforgettable adventure. Enjoy peaceful and comfortable accommodation on top of the warm sand and beneath shady palm trees. Guests have a choice of a variety of cabanas or family casas. All rooms are equipped with super comfy hotel-style beds, mosquito nets, fans, plug points, towels and more. Rooms are cleaned every day.
Guests have access to a shared outdoor kitchen with a large gas BBQ, kettle, cutlery etc. Hammocks spaced out beneath the palm trees, perfect for lazy days. Guests can enjoy our fitness center free of charge. A laundry service and shuttle service are available on request at an additional fee.
The on-site restaurant and bar are open every day from 08h00 until late. We are famous for our seafood and pizza, but there is a lot more on the menu including Thai food, Indian curries, homemade pasta, bar snacks, calzones and options for the kiddies. The fully stocked bar has everything you could imagine. You won’t find colder beer or better cocktails anywhere else.

Part of having the best holiday ever is having as much fun as possible. At Mango Beach Lodge, our private beach is geared towards all-day beach fun. Large thatch umbrellas provide shade all day long for those who just want to relax. On-site activities include snorkeling, beach volleyball, stand-up paddling, body boarding and typical beach fun like bats and balls, swing balls, soccer balls, badminton etc. Nearby activities include scuba diving, quad biking, kayaking, island trips, boat rentals, fishing, horse riding and much more.
Tofo has one of the best beaches in the world and offers some of the best diving and surf spots. Great for whale watching.
Mango beach is best accessed with a 4x4 although there are other options available to guests.
