Kolokolo Safari Homes are exclusive-use safari homes set within the Mashatu Game Reserve. The homes are ideal for a group of friends or family to enjoy the best of two worlds – exciting game reserve and having the privacy of a luxury bush stay.
Located on the banks of the Limpopo River, the Kolokolo Safari Home is a luxurious, newly renovated Colonial-style safari home designed for exclusive-use. Kolokolo is situated in the Pitsani area of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve, operated and managed by Mashatu Game Reserve. This safari home lies elegantly upon a tranquil garden that spans the banks of the Limpopo River. It boasts four en-suite bedrooms on either side of a large communal area with a spacious lounge and dining room. A mesmerizing fireplace is the central feature of the communal area, with stacking doors leading out onto a wrap-around veranda; providing ample space for outdoor dining and quiet spots for unwinding.
Tucked away in the eastern corner of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve lies Shalimpo Safari Home. Perched atop a kopjie, this unique home is a harmonious convergence of the Shashe and Limpopo Rivers, weaving together Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. From its vantage point, Shalimpo commands breathtaking views that extend across the landscape. The home welcomes up to 8 guests. Four bedrooms offer comfort, with two en-suites and two sharing a bathroom. An open-plan indoor dining room and lounge lead to a covered patio, inviting leisurely moments of reading, laughter, and board games. An open-air braai and boma area make for casual dining or stargazing in the evenings. The large farm-style kitchen can be used for self-catering. A small plunge pool is perfectly situated in the garden at Shalimpo.
