Situated in the heart of the famous Walkerbay Nature Reserve, with views stretching over Stanford hills, Hermanus and Gansbaai mountains, Walkerbay Dunes Lodge is surrounded by Cape fynbos that is home to over 100 endangered plant species and over 20 mammals.
Be immersed in the homely atmosphere. Afro-fusion art bringing Africa and all parts of the world into harmony, are relatable pieces both pleasing to the eye and heart-warming. The open dining room, with a bar area, and lounge, has spectacular views of nature.
Individually decorated, the rooms with views and are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds with quality linen and towels and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with walk-in showers and bidet toilets. The rooms also have comfortable seating, TVs with streaming services, Wi-Fi access, a Nespresso machine and a bar fridge.
The lodge offers personalised breakfast options, served at the family dining table or privately on the room patio. A dune ride at sundown, a romantic dinner for two, a traditional South African braai or delicious Austrian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere can also be arranged.
