Assess to the lodge is via a single track dirt road which is approximately 1.4km from the entrance of Monkeyland. The dirt road is completely passable for any vehicle type, just drive slow, enjoy the adventure into the forest and keep a look out for any of the resident wildlife en-route!!

Built on the hillside, most of the town is on a steep slope leading down to the sea, which means that regardless of where you find yourself accommodated, you will be treated to spectacular views of the bay and surrounding hills and mountains

This includes the use of the Sauna and jacuzzi; a wood fire is lit with gentle music playing, and candles, gowns and slippers are provided while the stress melts away in the glass room surrounded by lush forest. Platters and/or a bottle of MCC can be arranged and brought down to the room for your SPA Booking

Simply spectacular, mesmerizing views over the valley and treetops, awesome food and wonderful staff, a real oasis among the forest. Nestled in the trees, even the bedrooms and bathrooms have their walls punctuated with glass for beautiful tree views. Tranquil and peaceful, this is literally the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at. Clean, awesome location near Plettenberg bay and animal sanctuaries just off the N2, it's a priceless gem of a find. Food and staff, especially Carol, were simply amazing, literally a faultless experience. Food for the soul.
This was the highlight of our honeymoon. Thankfully our last stop and we were so happy about that. Only wish we could've stayed longer. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I fell in love with the resident cat. Again, if he needs a home, call me :-) The breakfasts were good, the bed was comfy and the location is a dream. We are already talking about when we can return.
We loved our time at Trogon House! We celebrated my husband's 50th there and the staff was fabulous, the massages fantastic and the decor really lovely. The aspects of each of the rooms looking straight into the forest is amazing. We loved our time at Trogon House!
Absolutely stunning and what an adventure to get there. But believe me its worth it. If you want to relax and enjoy nature at a special place yet close to Plettenberg Bay - there you go and the well being I topped by best hospitality, outstanding food and and a gorgeous massage. We will be back!
Beautiful location, views and scenery. Room was lovely and staff were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a morning at the spa where we had a massage which was lovely! Hope to return to Trogon soon.
