Offering comfortable accommodation located in the suburbs of Swellendam, Marilyn's Rooms is an ideal option for both corporate and leisure travelers, equipped with an inverter for loadshedding time.
Take a stroll through our beautiful garden after a dip in the sparkling pool. The large outdoor braai area is nestled under a shade giving tree for those relaxing braai afternoons.
Marilyn’s rooms are next door to Dolittle cottages and attached to our offices. You can expect our office dogs and cats to greet you each morning and you can wonder over to feed our Donkeys and Sheep, they will happly trot over for a pat or two.
The property is adjacent to our town's Showground which plays host to monthly agricultural events, local concerts and some well-known cycle races.
During loadshedding time, the inverter provides power to the main lights and Wi-Fi... essential for the working traveler.
There is free off-road parking, for one car per room, behind an automatic security gate. The parking area of the Rooms is monitored by CCTV cameras for your protection and ours. Arrivals and departures are monitored.
Marilyn's Deluxe Room #1:
There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, a double-door wardrobe to hang your clothes and a private ensuite bathroom with shower in each room.The lounge room, where you can relax and watch some Netflix on the couch, includes a kitchenette with tea and coffee, kettle, toaster, microwave and bar fridge as well as basic cutlery, crockery and glassware.

All-in-one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a private ensuite bathroom with shower and a couch in front of the window where you can gaze into a lush garden or relax and watch some Netflix. Includes a kitchenette with tea and coffee, kettle, toaster, microwave and bar fridge as well as basic cutlery, crockery and glassware.

La Belle Alliance restaurant is AMAZING for breakfast!
I enjoyed Aan De Eike Guesthouse, My room were clean and the service were excellent.I felt very safe enjoyed every moment since I arrived. Swellendam is beautiful with most beautiful views. The location was very convenient and would recommend The Republican Restaurant. The food and vibe were awesome. It's safe to walk in Swellendam, what a beautiful place for entertainment
Historical information and value
Scenery, the residents, the roads are in great condition (compared to many many many other towns/cities in SA).
Wildebraam Estate. Friendly people. No traffic. Has all the shops and places one needs.
