The valley of desolation is a quick 7 minutes drive from us, and is definitely worth a visit. the Karoo golf course is 9 minutes away, and is a picturesque course and plays a challenging round. the Pierneef Art museum, Reinet House, Hester Rupert art museum, Cocolat Arts Cafe and the John Rupert Little theater plus more than 220 other national monuments are all reasons to visit Graaff Reinet. the Camdeboo National Park surrounds Graaff Reient and has hiking trails and Game veiwing areas. Hunting, sheep farms, township tours, and birding are all activities for your enjoyment.

Graaff-Reinet is a town full of history with excellent hospitality.
Lovely old buildings, a fantastic coffee shop with lovely things to buy, a restful Karoo landscape.
Old homes and churches. The national park was great.

Such a wonderful place, steeped in historical and natural interest. Museums, National Park and nearby Owl House.
Picturesque town, Reinet House Museum is a great stop, dinner at Pioneers, Nieu Bethesda to see the Owl House is worth the drive.
