All units are well-equipped with quality crockery, cutlery, and glassware. The patio and boma area at Top Cottage can be used by guests of either Top or Green Cottage on a first-come, first-served basis and includes a small plunge pool.

The Riverside Cabin is a one-bedroom wooden cabin beside the Bot River. It offers a queen bed and a sofa bed for a child, along with a bathroom, a living area, a kitchenette, and a balcony with a dining table. This private cabin, located outside the main farm area, is great for a weekend getaway.

The Heritage Cottage is a quaint, traditional two-bedroom farm cottage. The attic has been converted into a bedroom with a low ceiling and dormer windows. It features a bathroom, a kitchen, a living area with a fireplace, and a patio with a dining table and built-in braai.

Enjoy catch-and-release fishing in the small dams and paddling or picnics by the river. Guests can also take walks in the game reserve, though dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. The farm’s small dams do not require a fishing license, but guests should bring their own worms. The river is perfect for paddling and picnics, offering a peaceful and quiet environment to enjoy the sounds of birds and lions next door.

The Van Der Stel Pass Road is a well-maintained gravel road connecting Botrivier to Villiersdorp, offering a scenic shortcut to Franschhoek from Hermanus. It is 30 minutes from Hermanus, 7 minutes from Bot River,, and 25 minutes from Caledon, Kleinmond, and Grabouw. After heavy rains, the gravel road down to the farm can become very slippery, so drive with care.

The farm has small dams and no license is needed. Fish on a 'catch and release' basis - bring your own worms! The River is wonderful for paddling and picnics. Peaceful and quiet - listen to the birds and lions next door!
