This South Coast pet-friendly accommodation has beautiful sea views from the patios, lounge, and bedrooms. The spacious double-story family holiday home has a backup solar power and inverter system to assist you during load shedding and is secured with an alarm system, security cameras, and an electric fence. Internet connection is provided and you can log into Netflix, DSTV, etc; using your own login details on the Smart TV. Alternatively, you can bring your own DSTV decoder (with your cables and remote) and connect to the satellite dish provided. The house has a backup water system for any water interruptions.

This pet-friendly holiday home is suitable for larger families or smaller families with pets (Approval and a pet deposit is required). Please remember to bring your own bedding, blankets, food, and water bowls for your fur baby.
The lounge, dining room, and kitchen downstairs are open plan and there is a separate scullery with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The long, granite breakfast counter separates the kitchen from the rest of the open-plan living area.

Gaze out to sea from the patios, La Gratia House has two; one upstairs off the main bedroom and one downstairs off the lounge. Both patios overlook the swimming pool which is fenced off to keep the children safe. The charcoal braai is on the downstairs patio, close to the kitchen and swimming pool.

Parking is easy in the double, motorized lock-up garages (Solar power & Inverter assisted) and there is room in front of the garages should you have an extra car.

The main bedroom of La Gratia House is upstairs and has a queen-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with a bath, and opens onto the upstairs patio that has a beautiful sea view. The 2nd bedroom upstairs has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath with inter-leading doors. The 3rd bedroom upstairs has a double bed and the 4th upstairs bedroom has 2 single beds. The 5th bedroom is downstairs and has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There are sea views from all the bedrooms of this 10-sleeper house on the South Coast of KZN.

Uvongo is a popular family holiday destination year-round due to its sub-tropical climate and renowned beaches; Uvongo Beach to the left and Lucien Beach to the right. Uvongo is situated between Shelly Beach (5km) and Margate (3km) where there are many shopping centers, restaurants, pubs, and cinemas, nearby for those days you don’t spend on the beach.

La Gratia House, pet-friendly, (on approval, only) is not available for adult group bookings or parties! No more than 10 guests in total (adults and children combined) are permitted on the property. No additional visitors are allowed. If there be found more than 10 guests you will forfeit your refundable breakage deposit and can be asked to leave the premises

* Golf
*The lower South Coast offers some of the most amazing golf courses to be found in SA. Margate is within 60 minutes of 9 golf courses, two of them rated amongst SA's top 12. No wonder this is called the golf coast of South Africa.

*Water temperatures rarely drop below 20°C, so you can swim all year round, even in mid-winter.

* Fishing
*Margate offers various excellent rock and surf angling spots. If you are looking to go deep-sea fishing, scuba diving or just for boat pleasure trips, go along to Shelly Beach as boat launches are done from here.

* Sardine Run
*When the Sardine run starts in June, the South Coast is where you want to be. It is an unforgettable experience to witness the activity that takes place with the sharks, dolphins and various game fish that follow. Perhaps the most exciting part of the sardine run is dolphin spotting, as thousands of common and bottlenose dolphins follow the shoals.

*Let's not forget the whales, those gentle giants of the ocean, which frequent the waters this time of the year.
