Hout Bay, known as the Heart of the Cape, is a captivating coastal suburb of Cape Town. Hout Bay enjoys a rural atmosphere surrounded by a cobalt-blue ocean, magnificent mountain ranges, and eclectic shops and restaurants.
Hout Bay’s prime attraction is the long stretch of beach popular among tourists, locals, and their furry companions. Boat excursions are available to book at the harbour, offering trips to Duiker Island, Seal Island, and around the Sentinel. There are excellent restaurants to visit, including small takeaway outlets offering some of the freshest seafood in Hout Bay.

Beautiful place
Vibrant night life. Big variety of restaurants and food. Clean beaches and market has a big variety of items. Great way te spend a summers day. Packing is limited though so getting there early is key.
