African Sands is an upmarket bed & breakfast ideally located in Amanzimtoti, 55km kilometers from King Shaka International Airport, 2 kilometers from Prospecton, 3 kilometers from Southgate Industrial Park and 25 kilometers from the Durban City Centre. We offer comfortable, affordable business and holiday accommodation in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
In Room Facilities:The establishment consists of 11 beautifully decorated suites, one of which offers a self-catering option. All units are en-suite, with air-conditioning and ceiling fans and have TV's offering the DStv hotel bouquet.
Area Information:We are in close proximity to a number of leisure activities including private game farms, crocodile farms, snake parks, The Midlands Meander, The Valley of 1000 Hills, scuba diving at Aliwal Shoals, major shopping malls, and cinemas.
Property Facilities:There is a swimming pool and off-road parking on the premises. We offer a delicious full buffet breakfast to start the day, a laundry service, a mini bar facility, and wireless internet.
Attractions:We also have a golf course within a 2 km radius, as well as the Virgin Active Health Centre, bird parks, restaurants, a private hospital and beautiful beaches right on our doorstep.

Perfectly situated for our stay, friendly reception, clean room, comfy bed, nice setting and a warm shower, everything we needed!
Warm welcome from the Manager even though we arrived very late, she was able to wait or us.
African Sands is Home away from home. Breakfast was very nice.Rooms were very clean.
The stay at your BB was luxurious, very good breakfast and enough safe parking.
I also appreciate the personal interest from my host, to make sure everything is in order.
I booked my next visit to that area already.
