A peaceful sanctuary surrounded by nature, Phakalane Retreat is the perfect getaway to relax and revitalise the mind, body, and spirit. The retreat offers four beautiful rooms connected to the main house and three stand-alone cottage-style cabins in the garden, surrounded by magnificent views.
The four rooms connected to the main house are the Hummingbird Room, Yin Room, Yang Room, and Moon Lovers Suite. All these rooms consist of king-size beds as well as an en-suite bathroom. These rooms have access to the shared living room area as well as the shared breakfast area.
The three stand-alone cottage-style cabins are the Mountain Hut, the Water Hut and the Forest Hut. All of the cottage-style cabins consist of king-size beds and have outdoor showers. One of the cabins has a kitchenette.
There is a full buffet breakfast with unlimited coffee and tea throughout the day. Guests can also use the sauna room and the shared swimming pool. Alcohol is not allowed at the retreat. The retreat has a house cat; guests are encouraged to advise us of any allergies to cats before booking. Free secure parking is available at the property.

Affectionately called ‘the Republic of Hout Bay' by its residents, Hout Bay lies just 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town. Its long, sandy beach faces a bay framed by mountains and is quite simply beautiful. Visitors can take a scenic route through one of the Cape's beautiful roads, Chapman's Peak.
Hout Bay has one of the busiest fishing harbours in the Western Cape with an established tuna, snoek, and crayfish industry. Guests can enjoy eating delicious, fresh seafood caught daily at the various beachfront restaurants. Hout Bay is 38 minutes from the Cape Town International Airport.

Beautiful place
Vibrant night life. Big variety of restaurants and food. Clean beaches and market has a big variety of items. Great way te spend a summers day. Packing is limited though so getting there early is key.
