Our sparkling river has NO HYACINTH and is a very safe part of the Vaal River. The Vaal River is a popular town for a family vacation. Beautiful and friendly, Vaal River is unique in that its coastline is made up by the provinces of Mpumalanga, Gauteng and the Free State. Attractions to explore are the Emerald Casino Resort, the town of Parys, which is known for its antique stores and art galleries, and the Vredefort Dome, which is a World Heritage Site. The Vaal Mall is 25 minutes away and promises to take care of all your shopping needs.
Heaven on Vaal is a quaint pet friendly retreat located on the Vaal River & offers wonderful fishing. This secluded property is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of modern day life and promises to leave guests feeling relaxed and de-stressed in a tranquil environment. We now offer a guest house accommodation too. Heaven on Vaal is close to convenient amenities including shops, eateries,and entertainment facilities. DAY VISITORS to be requested prior to arrival. Fees per booking confirmation.

Accommodation at Heaven on Vaal consists of:
Heaven on Vaal is home to comfortable self-catering apartments, with accommodation consisting of en-suite bathrooms, an open plan lounge and well-appointed kitchen. Our four sleeper units have one bedroom with en suite bathroom and two single day beds in the living area while the seven sleeper apartment has two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. We also have a lovely Penthouse/Bridal unit with the best view and a spa bath.
Heaven on Vaal has a spectacular Diner with the most heavenly views of the river. This is available for hire for small functions.
We do slow party boat trips along the river & even have wonderful sightings of bird life & animal life on the banks of the river.

Lovely area,the owner was so helpful and friendly
The room was clean
Beautiful place and the management is awesome.
The place looks lovely from far but it is far from nice. The place needs major work,leaking units, broken cupboards and definitely isn't worth the price. Staff and owner, however are very obliging and very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay even though it was short.

We had a great stay at Heaven on Vaal. The kids enjoyed the fishing especially. 13 fish were caught between my 2 sons and they were so happy.
My hubby and I also had such a relaxing and peaceful 2 days. Absolutely Awesome!

It was nice and cozy,my wife enjoyed it as well.
We really enjoyed our stay there. The rooms are basic but I have to say they are exceptionally clean. Great view! Also, I mentioned to the management when I made the booking that its my mom's birthday over the weekend. On the day, they came with a bowl of choccies and a candle and sang Happy Birthday. Very sweet.

Accommodation is good and the location is excellent. Good value for money. Definitely will use this facility in the future.
My husband works abroad and i only see him every two months so when he does get home we need to spend lots of quality time together and Heaven on Vaal was the perfect place to do just that. I loved the tranquilty and the view. We will be visiting regularly. Thank you for a beautiful get-a-way to catch up lost time.
