Attractions in and close to Brits include the De Wildt Cheetah Research Centre and the Vaalkop Dam Nature Reserve. Visitors can take part in excursions including daily tours to a crocodile farm, the Rainbow Cultural Village, tour Ndebele, San Bushman, and Afrikaner villages, visit the Margaret Roberts Herbal Centre, and pay a visit to the Granite Works; the largest diamond saws in the world are used here to cut blocks of granite.
Possibly the biggest drawcard of a stay in Brits is its proximity to Harties or Hartbeespoort Dam. Hartbeespoort Dam is the weekend playground of city dwellers. Perched on the slopes of the Magaliesberg Mountains, the dam is a hive of water sports and other activities aimed at the day visitor, including a monkey and elephant sanctuary, a snake park, and a cable car ride up the mountains with views over the dam.

Boat Cruise and Cable car
Not the roadworks in town, but definitely to see after 4 years since my last visit to Brits, that the town is better and bigger and definitely more options then 4 years back.

Great place for a nice holiday. I enjoyed the place great service. Its worth going for a second time. Cool bar, all drinks available.
Mall.
Visited Brits Mall. We also visited the stalls for vegetables and fruits. We wanted to visit the Platinum place. This is a very relaxing place where one can swim, slide a braai your meat and network with a variety of people.
It's OK... Just the gravel made it a bit unpleasant.
I loved the holiday atmosphere, the kiddies facilities for all ages. The food. The bar was top notch and I loved the quietness of bush at night.
