Welcome to Critchley Hackle Lodge, located in a quiet and scenic corner of Dullstroom, Mpumalanga. Our accommodation offers units with private patios with scenic views over the trout pond and gardens, the finest amenities and superb facilities while still maintaining a country home atmosphere.
In Room Facilities:Rooms are equipped with full private bathrooms (bath and shower), a fireplace to keep you cosy on the chilly Dullstroom evenings. Most rooms with uncapped Wi-Fi and private patios overlooking the dam and gardens.
Smoking is not permitted.
The Lodge is conveniently close to all the town has to offer, including interesting shops, restaurants and many other activities. Whether you are here to unwind for a few days or for business, we will always strive to exceed your expectations.

Beautiful peaceful breakaway in the charming Dullstroom! Our room was very neat and with stunning decor! Location perfect! Will definitely visit again.

A difficult time with the Covid 19 virus affecting everything. Restaurant closed which we had been advised of. Our television did not work the first night and only could be restored to working order the next evening. Lovely setting but very quiet midweek and even more so with no tourists going through Dullstroom.

Enjoyed walking around the small shops, popping into Mayfly Restaurant for lunch - the best service!!
Beware, some shops are closed on a Tuesday and/or Wednesday.
