Fairfield Cottages is set on a 100 ha operational fruit farm against the foot of the Skurweberge Mountains. All the self-catering accommodation options have a breathtaking view of the mountains surrounding Ceres valley. The vine-covered porches provide the ideal place to enjoy sundowners, while watching the mountains basking in the pink afterglow of the sun or see the full moon rise over the mountains. Each season is special on the farm – winter boasts views of snow-capped mountains and crystal clear streams running past the cottages, in spring the orchards in pink and white blossoms are breathtaking – so is the abundant wildflowers, summer is ideal for our numerous activities and autumn turns our special town (a mere 6km away) into a picturesque wonderland.

The Fynbos self-catering accommodation consists of an open plan kitchen, with fire hearth and living area. The spacious outdoor braai area is next to the vine-covered porch which looks out onto the garden and wood fired hot tub.

Klipspringer Cottage - sleeps 6
The Klipspringer self catering accommodation consists of an open plan kitchen and living area with a fire hearth and DSTV. It has three bedrooms and a bunk bed suitable for a child. For the adventurous there is a second bathroom outside, boasting a tree shower (with hot water), basin and toilet.
Outside under the towering pine trees is a braai area on the lawn with a little stream running past in winter. Children can enjoy the tree swing and the swimming pool is 50m away.

Mountain Spring self-catering accommodation consists of an open plan kitchen and living area, with a comfortable double sleeper couch. For rainy days in winter, there is a fireplace in the living area. The spacious porch with built in braai area has a spectacular view of the mountains. For the adventurous there is an outside bath tucked away behind the rocks with hot water and breathtaking surroundings.

Our activities on the farm include hiking trails, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, and bird watching. Fairfield is also home to a variety of wildlife, magnificent fynbos, 2 resident four-legged friends (which duty it is to pay a friendly visit to all guests), and a few horses. The self-catering accommodation is also pet-friendly.

We had the most relaxing holiday ever. The cottage was so clean and the hospitality we received from Anita was fantastic.
Just a pity we couldn't stay longer, always a next time. The cottage is set right in the mountainside and it was incredible waking up to a beautiful sunrise in the front and the mountains in the back. Most important of all our little doggie Lacy loved the holiday. Definitely will be back in winter.

What a beautiful cottage in a stunning setting, we loved our stay!
Peaceful and beautiful . We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every moment. Beautiful surroundings and a Ideal per friendly place.
Lovely venue, fresh air and good break away! Klipspringer house is spacious enough for 6 people. Well equipped and well kept. Loved the little stream running next to the house and it being pet friendly. My dog had a visit from Bella the friendly farm dog every day and they played up a storm. Felt safe there.
We have used Fairfield Cottages on several occasions now and have never been disappointed. The units have always been clean and everything functional. We particularly enjoy the shower at Klipspringer. The unit is far from any traffic noise yet conveniently close for any shopping. We will return again!
