Sands Beach Breaks Umdloti is a beautiful self-catering holiday apartment on KZN's Dolphin coast in popular Umdloti. This apartment boasts magnificent views of the Indian ocean where whale and dolphins are spotted regularly.
Sands is very popular for a romantic get away , honeymooners and business travellers
The apartment comprises a king-size bed and a sleeper couch for a child under 12 years old.
The bathroom comprises a bath and a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided. Please request swimming towels if you need them.
Other amenities include a fully-equipped kitchen, an open-plan granite dining area, a comfortable lounge with a flat-screen TV and full DSTV satellite channels and unlimited Wi-Fi. There are overhead ceiling fans in the bedroom as well as air-conditioning in the bed room area.
The balcony is perfect for breakfast, braais and alfresco meals. Guests have access to the communal swimming pool, gym, squash court, outdoor entertainment area and braai facilities. The complex is fully fenced and has security access at the main gate as well as overnight guarding.
Secure covered parking which is just outside the unit is provided
The apartment is near many famous restaurants and shops and is close to the airport which is a mere 15 minutes away by car and the beach a quick 2 minutes drive
Umdloti is a tranquil seaside village located at the mouth of the Mdloti River, north of Durban.
It’s hugely popular as a holiday destination and home to a population of about 3 000 permanent residents. It’s famous for its natural rock pool which creates a safe swimming area and dolphins which swim close to the beach and whales that stay in the bay between July and November.

Beautiful place to stay. You can access the beach directly from the compound. The pool is nice and clean. Now about the place: it's clean and has amazing beach views from the balcony as well as from the master bedroom. The bed is king-size so that also has an advantage. Loved the place and would recommend the same to all fellow travelers.

I felt at home a week before when Sandy started checking on us, great host, the flat amazing, we sat on the balcony for hours, excellent view, highly recommend it, even the security guards are wonderful!

We loved our stay at Sans place. Sandy is a great host. Our biggest problem was we had no car and although it's right in front of the sea there is no Road leading direct to the beach and we had to walk around every time. But other than that absolutely breathtaking views!

The view of the from the kitchen, bedroom, balcony/patio... Amazing!!
The apartment was clean, the bed was great, linen clean, it has everything needed for a self-catering unit, just bring your bags.
And its close to the beach.
We will definitely stay again. Loved it!!!

Umdloti has very conveniently located magnificent stretches of pristine golden beaches with shark nets, clear water, large safe tidal pool, delightful paved walks beside the sea and outstanding restaurants like Mundo Vida with sea views. Simple open air changing rooms like those seen on European beaches would be an improvement.
