The Lighthouse Guesthouse is a truly pleasurable experience if you decide to stay there. There is a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere in beautiful surroundings & your host Bianca is amazing with a big welcoming smile & makes you feel at home,
Thanks so much Bianca for everything.
PS. There's also a big Lemon Tree.(sorry i couldn't resist) 😃
Truly spacious and luxurious set up, spotlessly clean and welcoming. I would happily return to this venue and will tell my friends to consider this guesthouse when passing through Colesberg.
The stay at the light house was pleasant, and is always a pleasant experience, however the Pizza restuarant accross the road was closed which to us was quite annoying as we had such a good experience there the last time and to hear that they were closed due to taking leave, surely this is the busiest time for the restuarant to stay open and make money. Anyway we were disappointed about that but the stay was good.
The lighthouse guesthouse was fully booked and we were referred to La Provence. It was a delightful little place. Perfect resting place for an evening stop over. The host was friendly and most helpful and accommodated us even though we arrived late and left early the next morning. We would stay there anytime.

Colesberg Reviews
We stayed at Colesberg for the night, while travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Staying at Little Farm, we enjoyed a light dinner and the most delicious slap chips, while enjoying the pet-friendly and child friend outdoor area.
Easy access from the highway
Beautiful surroundings
Well positioned between Gauteng and the Cape Coast
The beautiful accommodation and their cleanliness.
Colesberg the town has really gone down, rubbish everywhere, dirty and dusty. However as we stayed in the wonderful lodge outside of the town, we will overnight again in the area, as it is in the middle of Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Friendly people and just the right distance from Gauteng to take a break.
Spectacular view of animals and the mountains.
The roads are in great condition, we did not go into the town.
Just travelling through ....
