Each cottage has its own style of decor and soft furnishings. Comfy beds with fine linens. In the Bathroom: superior quality towels, a delightful bathroom box with helpful little necessities, superior quality soap, hand cream, shampoo, conditioner and shower cap. In the Kitchen: fresh farm milk, cream and homemade butter (all from our own small dairy herd), homemade rusks, filter coffee, tea and sugar. All of these are topped up daily. Television: Not forgetting our movie buffs and sports lovers, Satellite TV is strategically placed. On the patio: Braai (BBQ) facilities Charcoal is provided and we will prepare the fire for you if you wish.

For our family lovers, we offer the perfect children's haven - milking time is a favourite and who can resist the calves and chickens? Breakfast and light lunches are served at Random Harvest Nursery’s Tea Garden, or alternatively meals can be delivered to your cottage. Outside of Random Harvest Farm, there are many attractions. For restaurant-lovers there are top class restaurants within a five-kilometer radius. Choices include the famous Casalinga Italian Restaurant and the more family orientated Alfresco Restaurant. We are a few minutes away from many cultural and adventure activities, such as caving, hot air ballooning, game viewing, hiking, world famous archaeological sites and more.

Your comfort and relaxation is of utmost importance to us. Each cottage is fully serviced by our friendly, trustworthy staff. We have 24-hour security with access control. Activities on the farm: Walking (we have a 1km circular walk, as well as meandering on the farm and guided walks) and Bird watching. Take a stroll through Random Harvest Nursery – both the growing and retail sections. We are one of the largest and most enchanting indigenous plant nurseries in South Africa. This nursery invites you to witness the dedication in growing and promoting our country’s finest indigenous plants. Walking through this botanical wonderland filled with rare indigenous plants and prolific bird life you will be transported to a new kind of peace and tranquillity. If you have young children, take them to watch the cows being milked (by prior arrangement) or to play in the sandpit.

Muldersdrift is a picturesque rural area with many attractions. It forms part of the “Crocodile Ramble”, one of the most popular craft routes around South Africa. Random Harvest Bed & Breakfast is 10 minutes from Lanseria airport and Northgate Dome, and only 27km from Johannesburg CBD.
