Durnford's Lodge is close to the C.B.D, yet away from the drone of everyday shopping and traffic. Paddy Ann, your host, is dedicated to customer service and wishes to make your stay, be it short or long, as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
We have 15 en-suite Bedrooms and offer Bed and Breakfast rates with Dinner available Monday to Thursday nights. We also cater for guests who need an extended stay in Ladysmith. We are able to host small to medium conferences, small meetings, office parties, special functions and Christmas parties at our Conference Hall at negotiable prices.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Hosts friendly and helpful.
The room I stayed in was really clean and comfortable, more of a flatlet, than a room really. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast. I will stay there again if I return to Ladysmith.
The only (minor) inconvenience was the lack of a two pin plug in the bedroom for charging my phone.
The most fantastic lodge, every need or wish is catered for in the most beautiful surroundings. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in fact just perfect.
An absolute gem in Ladysmith - great service and food
My 3rd visit to Durnsford and equally as enjoyable as previous visits. Neil and his team run a first class operation. From breakfast to dinner nothing is too much to ask. The food has really improved since my last visit and every meal was excellent. An ideal base for visiting the local historical sites and also perfect for single travelers.
The best place to stay in Ladysmith. Good food, friendly staff and green gardens. Conference facilities available. Rooms equiped with Hairdryer, TV, Tea & coffee plus mosquoto machine. These people really thought of everything making your stay even more comfortable.
