Welcome to Nutmeg Guest House,
Nutmeg Guesthouse is located in Howick, ideally situated for exploring the best of the Midlands. Offering self-catering or bed and breakfast accommodation for business and holiday travelers alike. The property includes braai facilities and a refreshing swimming pool.
The guesthouse offers a selection of 9 rooms with capacity ranging from 2 to 5 guests each. Each unit is furnished with double bed (or twin beds), side tables with reading lamps, DStv and fans. The kitchenettes include mini fridge, microwave, basin, and tea- and coffee- making facilities. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and include a shower, basin, and toilet. Free Wi-Fi is included.
Self-catering or full breakfast and dinner(by arrangement) are available in the main historic homestead.
The premises features lovely garden space, a braai area, and a swimming pool where guests can lounge and unwind at their leisure.

Friendly atmosphere, clean room with fridge, microwave, coffee, tea ect. We only stayed 1 night, should have stayed longer to enjoy the swimming pool and explore the area.
Had a great and relaxing stay. Recommended.
Okay not long enough except that the staff were very helpful when we had experienced an unfortunate unrelated problem.
Owner very friendly and helpful.
Tea bags in container old and stale.
Bed very comfortable.
Breakfast (English) well presented and freshly cooked.

Lovely peaceful area
Black Olive for lunch on Sunday.
Unfortunately with the hard lockdown we were unable to try restaurants and pubs. So I would like to reserve my comments for a later stage.
Still want to go to the Howick Falls, Midmar Dam and the Mooirivier Mideor. Need to spend more time in Howick.
Just travelled through, really.
View the falls and eat at the various restaurants in the town. Food was excellent.
Howick is very limited in what it offers... best to drive out to spots in the surrounding Midlands areas...
Midmar dam, Nelson Mandela capture site, stunning restaurants and shops.
Pleasant little country village to stop in and see the Howick falls.
We enjoyed our lunch at the Farmer's Daughter restaurant... dog friendly too.
