Situated in the heart of the Garden Route, nestled in a region of incomparable beauty, lies the town of Wilderness.
Wilderness is a holiday destination with 6 kilometres of unspoilt, dazzling beaches, and many vantage points from which to watch whales and dolphins giving unsolicited performances for enthralled onlookers.
This peaceful paradise is bordered by the Kaaimans River to the west, the Goukamma Nature Reserve to the east, the Outeniqua Mountains to the north, and the Indian Ocean to the south.
Wilderness weather is everchanging. The winters can be surprisingly mild. The summers are wonderfully warm with temperatures reaching 30°C.
Some of the top South African restaurants are tucked away in our charming town. There are also cosy cafes, live music nights, bars, and quaint shops to explore.

An unforgetable experience!
The setting is excellent with wonderful views of the sea and the beach. It is a very short walk to nearby restaurants for dinner. The room was comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Stunning view, exellent service, rooms and food. I will definitely stay at Sea Paradise every time I visit George and surroundings. Price is reasonable and I enjoyed the time there.

Stay was really nice. No problems at all.
Sea Paradise is in the most beautiful spot overlooking the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful however breakfast was slow when all rooms were occupied as the 2 staff members multitask. Some upgrades in the furniture are due but the view made up for the shortcomings. I would definitely want to go back again in the summer as the overall experience was wonderful and Wilderness is a great area to use as a base to explore the Garden Route.

Wilderness offers a wide variety of activities for all ages with an abundance of hiking trails, canoe offerings and paragliding available, whilst being surrounded by some of the most pristine beaches our country has to offer. If you love nature and adventure, Wilderness is your playground. For daytrips, you have the option of visiting neighbouring areas including George, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg. This is definitely a home away from home.
