Schoemansrus Guest House is an elegant country guest house situated in the picturesque Riebeek Valley, approximately an hour's drive and less than 100 kms from Cape Town. The guest house is set in a mature garden with restful water features and ample space for quiet reflection.
Guests have a choice of lovely double veranda rooms or luxury garden rooms, all fitted with quality linen. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, satellite TV with DVD player, a safe, hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi internet access.
The rooms either have access to a veranda, overlooking the Mediterranean garden, or their own garden patio with a view of the fish pond and the formal rose garden. Riebeek West is a small town situated about 75 km north-east of Cape Town and 5 km north of its twin town Riebeek Kasteel in the Swartland area of the Western Cape, South Africa. The twin towns of Riebeek West and Riebeek Kasteel nestle against the imposing Kasteelberg amongst vineyards and olive groves.
The valley allows you to indulge in the fantastic food and wine which is on offer and try one of several relaxing walks, mountain bike trails or even 4x4 trips for the more venturesome. These are but a few of the exciting activities this area has to offer. There are many restaurants on offer to suit every visitors budget. There is a great selection of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs to choose from.
