The Big Red Barn is a wonder-filled space where all kinds of Big Red Fun things can happen. Our Barn is an antique hay barn which we salvaged and rebuilt on Sunlawns Estate, a 200 hectare farm just 15 minutes from Centurion. The Big Red Barn is next to a 20 acre Eucalyptus forest, and looks out over an expansive vista of fields, grasslands and the Kaal River. Boasts an exceptionally tasteful market, cafés, mountain biking, walking trails, acrobranch & various kiddies activities, wedding & function venue, pet friendly and amazing food.
* SMUTS HOUSE MUSEUM -
Historical attraction with craft & antique market in Centurion.
The Jan Smuts House Museum, a simple wood and iron farmhouse, is situated in a natural park of indigenous trees and shrubs planted by Smuts who was passionate about botany and wanted the veld to “come right up to the front door”. The high-ceilinged rooms with their simple furnishings emphasise Smuts’s moderate tastes. The many relics and mementos on display offer insights into his extraordinary career and include the car he used when he was prime minister.After your tour of the house, make sure that you find time to appreciate the indigenous garden. A short walk takes you to Smuts Koppie, the rocky hill where the ashes of Smuts and his beloved wife, Isie, are scattered. A tea garden, set under tall trees, offers light refreshments.

It was such an amazing stay. The host was very understanding and had great hospitality skills. On our arrival, we got a personalised welcome card situated on our bed. It was just perfect
Breakfast was amazing. The room was stylish and comfortable.
The property was based on a golf course which is why we booked it. The room was large and the bed extremely comfy. There was a very large lounge, a bar and a very airy dining room which looked out onto the 9th green. Breakfast was simply laid out and freshly prepared if you wanted anything cooked which you requested from the very helpful and friendly staff.
The Room, the Bed, the Bathroom, the Library and Common sitting area. Very well decorated and maintained. The interiors are very warm and welcoming. As are the support staff. Very kind and accommodating. The view of the Golf course and walk around the beautiful houses is encouraging. Very safe premise.
The club house food, breakfast was lovely! And the staff are super attentive and friendly.
Always a great experience staying at Centurion Golf suites! The accommodation is lovely, the breakfast delicious and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are exceptional, friendly and welcoming.
A fabulous place to stay for a group of 10 friends on a golf trip. Excellent service form the staff and the owner who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Also very helpful with our transport arrangements. Rooms large and clean with great bedding. We will be back without doubt.
