The view on the farm is spectacular with deep valleys and sheer sandstone cliffs cut out of the mountains by the majestic Karnemelkspruit and its many tributaries. The seasons offer a favour for any intrepid traveller, from the snow capped mountains in the winter months to the hot and rainy summer months, this is a destination for any season. Game on the property includes Blesbuck, Mountain Rheebuck, Vaal Rheebuck, Cape Grysbuck and a variety of smaller buck species.

Fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, Fridge/freezer combination. Your own braai facilities. Electricity and hot water. All bedding and towels provided. Electric blankets on all beds in winter.

Featuring the highest dirt road in South Africa, the 8 (eight) mountain passes of the North Eastern Cape provide travellers with the opportunity to test their grit, 4x4’s and nerves. The 8 mountain passes offer some fantastic views of the valleys and mountains of this unique area, from snowfall in the winter to rain drenched roads in the summer rain season, these passes offer any 4x4 enthusiast with a challenging yet very rewarding adventure.

Fire wood available at reception. We do not supply any swimming towels – please provide your own. Cleaning service once a day – washing of dishes excluded.
