Stephward Estate originates back to 1989 when Howard Eades and Stephen Van Belkum purchased the land to create a wonderful holiday getaway. With a lot of dedication and love into creating the ideal mix of new age style and old world charm. Stephward Estate now offers guests luxury, comfort and tranquility.
Accommodation at Stephward Estate consists of: White suite (Sleeps 2) and the Green 2 bedroom unit (sleeps 4). Theses units are airconditioned and comes with all the usual Tea/Coffee facilities,TV Ceiling fans & Hair dryers.are privately situated in our Botanical park over looking our Dam. Each unit is alarmed for you security and peace of mind!

The restaurant at Stephward Estate is Al fresco and set out under an enclosed pool deck area. You will awake to a scrumptious hearty breakfast every morning and there is a variety of lunches available to suit all tastes, from cakes, quiches, sandwiches and a variety of coffees and teas. Functions can be arranged such as milestone birthdays, kitchen teas, christening, lunch parties and promotional events.
Enjoy a dip in the cool waters of our sparkling swimming pool during the warmer summer days. Other activities in the area include sunbathing on the sandy beach, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, freshwater fishing, playing a game of golf, bird watching, horse riding,
We are conviently situated between Margate and Shelly Beach (3kms either way)
With the Corona 19 Pandemic all suites are sanitized daily when guest have exited the building. On completion of the process a tape will be placed on the door which will have eo be broken on visitor entering the suite. This will show that no staff etc has entered after sanatizing. All suites are situated in the Gardens so no close proximity exsists.
With the Covid Pandemic all suite are sanitized daily . All staff are practised in the health practises by Tourism and WHO.

Hospitality from the owners was excellent.
Worth a longer stay. A great farmhouse breakfast, & the coffee is exceptional.

It was a home away from home. Peace and quiet. I had privacy. The room was extra clean the bed was comfortable and I had a fridge to put my snacks and drinks in.
