The establishment is tastefully furnished with antique cottage furniture. Each unit has its own private entrance and secure parking is available. Should you desire to book on a bed and breakfast basis, large farmhouse or continental breakfasts are served. Home cooked dinners can be prepared on request. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request.

Area Information:In 1815 a farm known as Welbedacht was granted to Mr Anthony Michael Muller by Lord Charles Somerset.
In 1852 a portion of the farm was sub-divided and transferred to the Mayor of Port Elizabeth.
The portion called "Muller Town" was renamed to Walmer as a token of respect to the Duke of Wellington.
He passed away at Walmer Castle in Kent, England.
Built by Henry VIII in 1539–1540, Walmer Castle served as an artillery fortress to counter the threat of invasion from Catholic France and Spain.

If you're looking for a place to stay that feels like a home away from home, then look no further than The Farmhouse.
The hosts, Melanie and Bill, were absolutely fantastic - friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The facilities were top-notch too - clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything necessary to make my stay comfortable. The location was great too.
Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience - highly recommended!

As an employee of Afristay it is always nice to visit places listed on our website. This way we can offer our guests the best accommodation to suite their needs. The Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is most definitely accommodation I would recommend when visiting PE. The owners welcomes you upon arrival and caters for all your needs. The guest house is beautiful and neat!

As the saying goes, ''beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder''...this statement might mean different things to different people in different context and could be relative. Yet in this sense, the Farmhouse Guesthouse is not only beautiful from the outside/external appearance but what makes the place even more special is the inner beauty and superb customer services provided by the owners of this establishment. I stayed there during my visit/work in PE and I just knew that this would become my home away from home each time I visit the beautiful and friendly city of PE. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a sense of peace and tranquility during their short stay in PE.
The Farmhouse accommodation was really great. We had our own side entrance and remote for the gate, which allowed us to come in and go out without disturbing anyone else. The owner went the extra mile to serve us with kindness and warmth. There was a generous amount of coffee and tea and fresh milk ...
I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The Farmhouse B&B is a blessed place, and so are the people there. Melanie and her husband, the owners were absolutely wonderful, such great people. I was very happy with my stay and truly enjoyed my time there so much. I would go back there again whenever I am in P.E.
The rooms were clean and tidy which I thought was excellent, the establishment was fully equipped with all the necessary essentials. We will definitely recommend this establishment to family and friends and we will be back for another visit soon.

Everything is available in Walmer. The best part of Walmer is Nottingham Country House.
Walmer was very convenient, it is closer to the airport and Walmer Park mall.
