Our Hermanus Guest House the Auberge Burgundy is a charming Provencal style establishment with fragrant courtyards and stone terraces. It is set above the picturesque Old Harbour in the historic heart of Hermanus (the hub of the famous Whale Coast).
The traveller’s love affair with Hermanus began well over a century ago. Visitors continue to visit our charming town down to this day, due to the magnificent scenery and perfect setting between mountains and sea. They also enjoy the many opportunities for recreation and relaxation found in Hermanus.
Our accommodation
The Auberge Burgundy Guest House offers comfortable accommodation and friendly service. It is surrounded by restaurants, craft markets, boutiques, art galleries and quaint shopping malls. It has the salt sea air of one of the world’s most magnificent eco-destinations in the world. The cool blue sea of Walker Bay is just 50m from our door step.

The views from our suite were glorious, even from the shower. The staff were really helpful & we had a wonderful massage at the spa. In addition, the breakfasts were great! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Central location and everything within walking distance. Beautifully decorated rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff.
Room very cosy.
Shower not working properly. One small bar of soap for shower and general use.
No secure parking.
