Welcome to Braeview Guesthouse in the picturesque town of Hermanus also known as the Heart of the Whale Route. Braeview runs on solar energy, we are NOT affected by load shedding! Braeview is situated in a tranquil, scenic environment from where one can hear the whales breathing in the evenings and early mornings. Braeview is owner managed and only 150 metres from the famous cliff path where the whales can be seen from close range. A short stroll away from the village and restaurants this elegant guesthouse offers the peace and quiet one needs to plan for the next day’s exciting events and excursions.

Nicely situated and very comfortable... within walking distance to Whale watching... was very excited to site one....
Braeview is the right place to stay. Nice hosts, beautiful house. Good value for money.

What a lovely little stone cottage we stayed in. It had everything we needed, and we loved the stone feel in the cottage.
The cottage was tastely decorated and very comfortable for our little 2 year old.
Will definately be back there again.
We stayed at Braeview in Hermanus for 2 nights. Accommodation was fabulous!
Only constructive criticism I have is that the notices that were displayed around the house
(in the kitchen and near the front door) were unfriendly in tone - a couple of "pleases" here
and there would totally change the tone.
But it was a wonderful time away and I wouldn't hesitate going back there.
My partner and I really enjoyed staying in the Stony Cottage, which was spotless and well-equipped. The owners were kind and helpful, and the B&B is located at one of the nicest - and quietest - spots of Hermanus. We were only some 200 meters away from the Cliff path, which is stunningly beautiful.
