Los Olivos at the Yard is situated in the centre of Franschhoek. The Yard is an upmarket piazza surrounded by gently-flowing waterways, offering the best location. Franschhoek is one of the oldest towns in the Western Cape and is best known for its wine estates, historical landmarks, charm, sophistication, and a wide variety of restaurants. The penthouses are uniquely decorated in a Colonial-African style, a stylish and comfortable haven for your stay. They are fully equipped for self-catering with secure off-street parking with local supermarkets nearby. Penthouse 1 features a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and double vanity. Penthouse 2 comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and double vanity. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and the second bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen and towels are provided. Both penthouses have open-plan kitchens fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and a Nespresso coffee machine. There’s also a dining table with chairs where guests can enjoy their meals together. The living area is furnished with 2 comfortable couches and a fireplace. Spent two nights here for our wedding anniversary. Beautiful apartment located right in the heart of the main stretch.Well appointed design and decor with comfortable bed, air-con (most welcome as the weather was in the high 30s!), a little private patio, and views of the surrounding mountains. Also, very clean, lovely white bed linen and towels, and robes too.
This apartment had everything you could need from bathroom amenities, kitchen appliances and utensils, firewood and fire lighters. The bed was very comfortable and the room was just so pretty! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I was lucky enough to come back to Franschhoek.
The apartment is an absolutely gorgeous, cozy spot. Balconies with great views. A fireplace ready to light. The location absolutely couldn't be better. Absolutely loved our stay here.
The apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to a number of restaurants, shops and the wine tram station (Pick n Pay, Clicks Pharmacy and Woolworths Food within 50m).The apartment is well decorated, clean, and has all the necessary facilities. This is my second stay at Los Olivos and I enjoyed my stay on both occasions.

Fantastische Unterkunft im wunderschönen Franschhoek! Die Lage ist perfekt, der kleine Innenhof mit dem Café lädt zum verweilen ein. Shops, Restaurants, die Winetram u.v.m. in weniger als 2min zu Fuß. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern, echt umwerfend. Wir haben tolle drei Tage dort verbracht und kommen definitv wieder!
In the heart of the village, decorated very tastefully and very comfortable. Would definitely come back.
Great location in the middle of town. Exactly what we were looking for in terms of having an independent place of operations. We didn't want to stay in a Bed and Breakfast and feel like we were in someone's home. This was a great, big, self-catering apartment in the middle of town. Also, lovely courtyard with a big tree. Really an excellent apartment, wish we could have stayed a week.

Always a pleasure to go to a beautiful, clean well-run town. You can walk the town & find great restaurants, interesting shops & even play boules.
The Wine Train for sure
So many wonderful places to eat including lovely outdoor courtyards with live music; lovely bespoke shops plus some necessities like Clicks; incredible world-class wine estates with wine tasting & pairing experiences and the wine tram; lovely accommodation well-tiered; safe to walk around. For an outstanding experience and meal I would recommend La Petite Colombe on Leeu estates.
