Known for pampered luxury and gourmet meals, Calitzdorp Country House is a fantastic Boutique Hotel. Built in the style and luxury of a country residence and furnished in South African Karoo style, it boasts every amenity you would expect from a luxury guest house.
Our accommodation includes five luxurious air-conditioned bedrooms with king-sized beds, each with its own private patio, garden and fountain. The rooms are furnished in South African Karoo style and graced with a collection of original South African art. Original Oregon wood floors add to the overall elegance of the house. En-suite bathrooms include shower, twin washbasins on Italian granite slabs and outsize baths that invite intimate candle-lit meetings.

We had the most amazing stay and would highly recommend staying at Calitzdorp Country House .we could not have been welcomed any better . Thank you . A real Gem to stay on Route 62 or just go and enjoy Calitzdorp .
Friendly hosts enjoyed in a relaxed environment in which one felt spoilt. Lovely outside view. Excellent dinner and breakfast. All this centred around a extremely comfortable room with all the pleasures one would hope for.
We spend a night at this lovely guesthouse on the edge of Calitzdorp. The rooms were very well appointed and every detail was seen too. The owners were very helpful and hospitable and we would definitely recommend this guesthouse to everyone. Thank you again.
This was our third stay and the first with the new owners, even better than before !!! Accommodation is first class, the people friendly and responsive to your every need be it a special breakfast request, advice on what to do who to see or joining us for supper in town at their favourite restaurant. Particularly enjoyed the first coffee of the morning and great breakfasts looking out over the valley. Had a wonderfully comfortable two nights stay and sincerely recommend the Calitzdorp Country House to anyone passing through this lovely part of the country.
Under new ownership and currently being looked after by the parents of the owners, this a great place to stay in the area. The food is good and plentiful. Our room with a patio was comfortable after a long drive. Would definitely stay again.

Nature and tranquility.
We were all pleasantly surprised on how beautiful the area around Calitzdorp are especially where we stayed at Matjiesvlei Cottages. There are three wine cellars with great restaurants which makes it worth your while to visit.
