Set in a supremely tranquil location, situated on the northern side of the lagoon with its natural ebb and flow of the tide. It is part of a natural bird sanctuary which includes the Knysna Lourie, Heron and the Egyptian Geese which often visit for a drink from the swimming pool! With 4 cottages (2 ground floor & 2 upstairs) so that we can we ensure it not to be crowded.(each sleep 4-6). Now with added backup system to keep the lights, TV & Wifi working during loadshedding times
In Room Facilities:Fully self catering which include a stove, oven, microwave oven, full sized fridge/freezer and braai facilities, linen etc. Cottages are getting a basic servic every day.
Cottage 1 : Ground floor , 2 bedrooms with Double bed in the 1st room, twin single bed in the 2nd bedroom, double sleeper couch in the open plan living area, fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms
Cottage 2: Ground floor , 2 bedrooms with Double bed in the 1st room, twin single bed in the 2nd bedroom, double sleeper couch in the open plan living area, fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms , 1 en-suit to main bedroom, 1 separate inside cottage
Cottage 3: Upper floor , 2 bedrooms with Double bed in the 1st room, 3 single bed in the 2nd bedroom, double sleeper couch in the open plan living area, fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, 1 en-suit to main bedroom, 1 separate inside cottage
Cottage 4: Upper floor, 2 bedrooms, both rooms with a king bed in each, double sleeper couch in the open plan living area, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 en-suit to main bedroom, 1 separate inside cottage
Each cottage perfect for 5-6 people per cottage

Reviews
We enjoyed the stay. The beds were comfortable and we had what we needed for self catering and were very please with the gas stove---especially during load shedding!
We had a wonderful experience at Salt River Lodge. It will definitely be our place to stay next time in Knysna
Nice cleaned place, everything was perfect. Cleaners very friendly and was also available for assistance. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Everything was in order. Thank you.
