Just 60 metres from the beach offering two types of non-smoking self-catering accommodation: House (from R1300/unit/night) and studio apartment (from R420/unit/night), sleeping 5 and 2 respectively, both fully equipped.
Situated in Bloubergstrand village, in Cape Town, a stone's throw away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the South African coast line, you will find this holiday retreat. Ideal for the discerning traveller, 'Nick's Seaside Rest' offers serviced self catering accommodation as well as genuine South African hospitality. Many of our guests have returned several times.
Only 20 kilometres outside of Cape Town's city centre and main business district, Bloubergstrand is ideally situated for the main wine routes and the coast.
Nick's Seaside Rest is situated in a quiet upmarket neighbourhood within 60 metres of the sea shore, a short walk to the surrounding restaurants and a few steps further to 'Big Bay', the world famous surfers and wind surfers paradise. Nick's Seaside Rest offers two types of accommodation: A semi-detached House which sleeps 5 and a Studio which sleeps 2 people.
The two units are managed separately and may not be rented in combination to the same group of guests.
Both units are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before the arrival of new guests.
Uncapped WiFi and DStv premium package, as well as an electronic wall safe and beach towels are provided in both units.
The House
The semi-detached House is fully furnished, has three bedrooms, sleeps 5, and has two bathrooms (one full bathroom with toilet and second one with shower & washbasin) plus a separate toilet with basin. Main bedroom with double bed; second bedroom with two single beds and third bedroom with one single bed. Spacious lounge and separate dining room (double volume). Large kitchen with crockery and cutlery, stove, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Linens and towels are provided. Spacious sheltered patio and garden for outdoor living; portable/mobile barbecue available. Private entrance and secure parking for two cars.
The Studio apartment
The Studio apartment is fully furnished, sleeps two people, and has an open plan bedroom (with double bed) and lounge/dining area, a separate bathroom (shower, washbasin and toilet) and separate kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, kettle and crockery and cutlery. Linens and towels are also provided. Portable barbecue available. Private entrance and secure parking for one car.
Secure on-site parking is provided for vehicles. Storage space for cycles and surfing equipment. Servicing for stays longer than one week
As the property is situated in a quiet neighborhood, parties and celebrations are not allowed.
The property is within walking distance from several good local restaurants, and also walking distance (3 minutes) from the local tennis courts and library. The area is well known and ideal for kite surfing, wind surfing (sail boarding), surfing, scuba diving and other water sports. All accommodation is non-smoking.

This place is equip with everything you need. The cleanliness is very good. It is situated at a very beautiful area and I will definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year. Close to the beach and restaurant's .walking distance to even a art gallery what a surprise.

We always stay at Nick's whenever we are in Cape Town, definitely home away from home. Also well located
Our stay was incredible. Exceeded my expectations. Everything advertised is true. We enjoyed the beach walks, 20 min walking to shopping mall, kite flying and surfing to watch nearby. The accommodation met all our needs towels and bed linen was changed once in our 8 night stay. The place was clean and all one needed to prepare food. Nick gave us satellite TV. Parking was on the property. Only thing lacking was Wi-Fi.
It was a wonderful few days of rest and the sound of the sea.
This facility is a stones throw from the beach, on the MyCity bus route, close to the well known restaurants in Bloubergstrand. I can definitely recommend it.
It was such a pleasure to deal with the host. He was professional and always very helpful. The accommodation was clean; well equipped and reasonably priced. The location is ideal. Close to popular restaurants; shopping malls and of course the sea. I shall certainly return when I visit Cape Town again.
What an awesome place. We stayed in the studio which is just perfect for 2 people. Clean, neat and very tidy. Very friendly owners who made sure every single day that everything was 100% and to our liking. Will most definitely stay here again!!. Well done and thank you Nick and Jacqueline!!

Close to all shops, restaurants, very central
views and quietness
The beach.
Dining out, walking on the beach.
They are not far from shops even if I use Uber it's not expensive.
It is quiet and serene. The beach is easy to access and many people run on the beach or next to it. A great place to visit if you enjoy being active. Also, a very dog friendly place. I would recommend Mozambik for a relaxed meal, but be prepared for noise: it is a very popular location! Both Table Mountain and Robben Island are visisble from Blouberstrand. with Uber, you can get around pretty easily to just about any location.
The beach
We want to thank Marko and his team for their friendliness and welcoming us with open arms on the 4th of July 2022. He gave us a tour through the apartment and made sure that we had all the things we need. The apartment was well cleaned and had all the equipment needed. It is walking distance to the beach and there is a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it for anyone. Sunset court will definitely see us again. Thank you Marko for everything.
