Area Information:Bloubergstrand lies on the west coast of Table Bay and is a 20-minute drive from Cape Town city centre and only 25 km away from the International Airport. Various upmarket shopping centres are within driving distance. Bloubergstrand beach gives a wonderful view of the city, and it is from here that the perfect postcard pictures of Cape Town with Table Mountain in the background are taken.
Blouberg's beaches are famous for kite surfing and paragliding. After you have captured your panoramic shot of Table Mountain, relax on the sandy beach and watch the hottest kite and wind surfers ride the large crashing waves, supported by the regular strong southeaster winds of the Western Cape. Wave jumpers and colourful hobie cats can be seen dotted against the azure of the sea. Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned is within swimming distance from the beach.
Residents lounge/dining - Relax and enjoy the friendly conversation in the residents lounge or have sundowners whilst taking in the panoramic view.
There are a number of famous restaurants within walking distance, should you wish to dine out.

The room was lovely and just as advertised. The management were very helpful and I will stay there again when I have the opportunity.
Our stay was very comfortable and staff from reception through to the cleaning team we’re very accommodating
It was quiet, peaceful and top class. Loved my stay and it was close to the beach too! Clean, well maintained room. It is a bit far from shops and restaurants so you will need to use Uber or other transport if you have no vehicle of your own. The lanterns ready for load shedding are a big bonus! Overall, well worth the effort.

The beach.
Dining out, walking on the beach.
They are not far from shops even if I use Uber it's not expensive.
It is quiet and serene. The beach is easy to access and many people run on the beach or next to it. A great place to visit if you enjoy being active. Also, a very dog friendly place. I would recommend Mozambik for a relaxed meal, but be prepared for noise: it is a very popular location! Both Table Mountain and Robben Island are visisble from Blouberstrand. with Uber, you can get around pretty easily to just about any location.
The beach
We want to thank Marko and his team for their friendliness and welcoming us with open arms on the 4th of July 2022. He gave us a tour through the apartment and made sure that we had all the things we need. The apartment was well cleaned and had all the equipment needed. It is walking distance to the beach and there is a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it for anyone. Sunset court will definitely see us again. Thank you Marko for everything.
