All Rooms, Bungalows and Hut are en-suite (shower & toilet) and furnished with wooden furniture in rustic style. For a safe and peaceful night the bed is equipped with mosquito nets. Bedding and Towels provided.
They have free Coffee and Tea buffet.
For self catering:
The Bungalow and the Hut has an outdoor sink, double hot plate, toaster, cutlery and crockery (not a fully equipped kitchenette), Air Condition, a fridge and a Braai.
White River is a pleasant small town situated in a picturesque district. It is geographically well located for tourists wishing to visit the Kruger Park or to travel the Lowveld and the Panorama Route.
Due to its altitude of nearly 900 meters above sea level the climate is moderate and pleasant even in midsummer. It is ideally suited for the growing of subtropical fruit such as citrus, mangos, avocados, litchis and nuts. There are lots of small farms and vast plantations of pine and blue gum trees around the town.

The big garden with numerous subtropical plants is a paradise for a wide variety of birds (we spotted over 90 species). You have a wonderful view over the White River valley. The big swimming pool cools you down in the heat and makes your swim enjoyable. Deck chairs and a thatched sun shelter are provided for your convenience.

Thokozani Lodge is situated in the heart of the Lowveld. Only a short 30 minutes drive takes you to Kruger National Park. Watch the Big Five and all the other fascinating wildlife.

The accommodation was excellent. The place is nice and clean and the staff very friendly.
The night live around the lodge is peace and quiet and a place where you can just take off your shoes and relax.

We felt like we were at home. We received a warm welcome from Holger .He is friendly and have a very good customer service. I will stay at Thokozani Lodge every time I go to Mpumalanga. The rooms and the outside garden is clean.
Thank you Holger for your warm and personal welcome. I had a pleasant stay at Thokozani Lodge and found the chalet clean and neat. What a pity I visited during winter when it is dry and dusty. During summer it would be an amazing place to stay and plenty of room for children to run about. God willing, I hope to be back next year.

There is a shisanyama along the road . Wow … what a nice place to chill in, the music was good. They braai the meat for the customers.
